Kawakawa Leaf Necklace

A distinctive heart shape leaf, Kawakawa, from the Maori word Kawa, meaning `bitter', has been used throughout Maori history as a tea for medicinal purposes.  Kawakawa leaves are also traditionally worn after the loss of a loved one.

Sterling silver long dropping flower that sways as you move, with a tiny freshwater pearl at the tip.  4cm length. Suspended from a fine 45cm sterling silver chain, with a 5cm extender.
